  • Browse code, docs, packages, and subsystems.
  • Search (widely!) for relevant information.
  • Make packages work in more environments.
  • Build a global "knowledge base".

• Convenience - Do things more easily.

  • View any document (or file, really).
  • Merge (and create) package variants.
  • Gather and redistribute user feedback.

• Safety - Don't break anything!

  • Existing tools should still work.
  • Package should never get lost.
  • We don't need any new security holes.
